CHINA LAKE COMMUNITIES PET POLICY
We’re happy to welcome pets as part of our community, but to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all residents, please review and follow the guidelines below.
Pet Approval
Approval to keep a house pet in the Park must be obtained from Management before a pet is obtained. A “house pet” is defined as an animal that primarily lives inside your mobile home. Management reserves the right to deny approval if a proposed pet poses a threat to the safety or wellbeing of other residents or their pets.
Types and Number of Pets Allowed
A maximum of 2 pets per household is permitted.
Allowed pets include dogs, cats, small birds, fish, and other typical household pets (subject to management approval).
Exotic animals, farm animals, snakes, and other non-household pets are prohibited under any circumstances.
If a pet is lost or passes away, approval must be obtained before acquiring a new pet.
Pet Registration & Requirements
All pets must be registered with Management.
Proof of current vaccinations (for dogs and cats) and county licensing, if applicable, is required at the time of registration and upon request.
Residents are responsible for updating Management if pet information changes.
Resident Responsibilities & Rules
Pets must not cause unreasonable disturbance, annoyance, or harm. This includes (but is not limited to) excessive barking, growling, biting, property damage, or other disruptive behaviors.
Pet waste must be cleaned up immediately by the pet owner.
Pets must be walked on a short leash and are not allowed to roam freely within the Park.
Pets may not be tied up and left unattended. Owners must be present and visible at all times if a pet is secured outdoors.
No exterior pet housing (such as kennels, cages, or fenced enclosures) is allowed.
Guests are not permitted to bring pets into the Park without prior written approval from Management.
Feeding stray dogs, cats, or wild animals is prohibited.
Liability & Enforcement
Pet owners are fully responsible for any injury or damage caused by their pets to other residents, property, or common areas.
If any rule is violated or a valid complaint is received, Management may issue a written notice. Repeated or serious violations may result in revocation of pet privileges.
Any pet found roaming without proper tags may be impounded and taken to Animal Control at the owner’s expense.
